Welcome to Edithburgh Primary School
Edithburgh Primary School promotes a learning environment that is safe, positive, caring and supportive. We are a small school with three mixed age group classes.
Our values are respect, responsibility and participation and there is an emphasis on healthy eating and physical activity. Student voice is encouraged through class meetings and governance groups. With a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, staff provide the foundations for success in a challenging learning environment. Staff work collaboratively with nearby schools and attend relevant training and development to foster their own learning for improved student outcomes. Transition programs support reception students enrolling from the local preschool and Year 7 students moving on to Yorketown Area School for their secondary education.
Parents and community members are an integral part of the school supported by the governing council and parents and friends. Current technology and recent upgrades to our buildings and play areas provide an engaging and stimulating learning environment. With the installation of water harvesting features and energy saving devices we promote sustainable practices at our site.
